The Manchester Vermont Dog Park is a citizens' organization of dog loving people working with the Town of Manchester to create and maintain a dog park in Manchester Vermont. What is a Dog Park?

 

A dog park is a place where well behaved dogs can run off leash safely, under the watchful eyes of their owners. Our Dog Park even has a separate area for small or timid dogs. The mission of Manchester VT Dog Park is to contribute to the health and well-being of people and their domestic dogs. By advocating for the design, construction, maintenance, and safe operation of a legal, enclosed, off-leash recreation area, we fulfill that goal and that provides several immediate benefits to our community. Our Manchester Vermont Dog Park is in a designated part of the Dana Thompson Park and Recreational Area, easily located on Recreational Park Road on Bonnet Street/Route 30. Go to our Directions page for interactive directions.

Founded in March of 2008, we made our dream into a reality with the official Grand Opening on December 7th 2008. Santa and Mrs. Claus were even on hand to help celebrate.
